Today's Washington Post Weekend section features an extensive cover story by Richard Harrington, "Old Time Music's Crooked Road: A Tuneful Drive Through History in Southwest Virginia."
In addition to being an interesting read, the article also mentions Abington, Virginia's Barter Theatre--the official state theatre of Virginia--and their production of "Man of Constant Sorrow: The Story of the Stanley Brothers," which comes to The Barns at Wolf Trap on October 26. The play celebrates bluegrass legends Ralph and Carter Stanley and includes 20 of their classic songs.
